For sale is a simply superb RHD Maserati Ghibli Cup. This particular example is presented in Blu Spaziale with Grigio Chiaro Leather Interior. One of only 26 RHD cars, it has been owned by Maserati Club members for most if its life and is accompanied by a history file documenting everything from new. It has been maintained by Meridien Modena, McGrath Maserati and Emblem Sports Cars. Having covered just 59000 miles from new, the car drives beautifully and is presented in unmarked condition. It has had a service and cambelt change ready for its new keeper. This is a rare opportunity to purchase an excellent example of this ultra rare car. The car has all the upgrades of the Ghibli GT but with a two-litre engine only, which uses roller bearing turbos - different from any other model - modified engine management mapping, and a freer-flowing exhaust system which helps it to develop 330bhp. Further changes to the suspension bushing and larger Brembo brakes stand the car apart from Ghibli GT's . Externally, the Cup can be distinguished by its use of five-spoke split rim Speedline wheels and single outlet per side exhaust pipes, as opposed to twin tailpipe per side on all other models. It also has a badge on the lower doors proclaiming it Ghibli Cup and a racing style aluminium fuel filler cap. Internally, the differences are greater, the wood being exchanged for carbon-fibre inserts. Drilled pedals, Momo Corse steering wheel and aluminium gearknob completed the racing car ambience. It also featured in a group test v the 968 Clubsport last year in Modern Classics: https://www.modernclassicsmagazine.co.uk/enjoying/fighting-back
